A 12-year-old seventh grader in Colorado is struggling to attend school after repeated verbal attacks from a small group of boys in her gym class.

The main aggressor has accused her of being responsible for the family dog’s death, cruelly suggesting the animal “killed itself to get away from her,” and has gone so far as to call her “a failed abortion.

Despite her parents raising the issue with both the teacher and the counselor, the school has not classified the behavior as bullying.

The impact on the child has been severe; she experiences intense anxiety and even vomits at the thought of going to school, particularly to P.E. class.

Middle school is so tough! I vowed to put my daughter online specifically just for middle school and then back to school in high school. Switch her classes if all else fails! Demand her to be switched.
