Authorities are searching for 15-year-old James Xander Lammers, who was reported missing Thursday evening in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office issued an Operation Quickfind for Landers after he was last seen around 7:00 p.m. on the 6000 block of Mt. Vernon Road SE on October 30, 2026.
According to the Linn County Sheriff’s office, James is a white male, with height and weight approximately 5’11” and 145 pounds, respectively.
The teenager has brown hair, hazel eyes, and a small scar near his right eyebrow.

During the time of the disappearance, James was wearing a light-colored long-sleeved shirt and dark-colored sweatpants. There is no information on whether he was wearing any shoes, slippers, or none at all.
Neither the Sheriff’s office nor any family members has confirmed whether the teenager had a conflict before the disappearance.
