On October 16, 2026, a mother, Sharay Xoxo, shared a heartbreaking post about her son, Emmoni, claiming that he is facing bullying at Centennial Elementary School.

This is not the first time Emmoni has been bullied. Two years ago, he was sent to a program called Circuit Breaker.

There, he was mistreated and eventually taken to a mental hospital in Chicago against his will.

Doctors later confirmed that nothing was wrong with him, leaving his family shocked and devastated.

Mother Worried About Football Player Son’s Future as He Faces Bullying and False Suspension in Elementary School

Following his son’s struggle in the past, Sharay decided to homeschool Emmoni to protect him from further harm.

Despite this, he longed for his friends and wanted to play football at Centennial Elementary this year.

However, the school only allowed him to return after Sharay dropped his IEP. It was a difficult decision that she made out of love.

Unfortunatley, even after returning from a long time, Emmoni faced bullying, name-calling, and neglect from staff and the principal.

The bullying did not stop. A student told Emmoni to kill himself, while her grandmother, an employee at the school, allegedly punished him during recess.

Sharay shared that her son was recently suspended for something he insists he didn’t do.

She believes these incidents are racially motivated, pointing out that there is no Black adult in the school to advocate for him.

While she has shared her struggle on Facebook, many have empathized with her and offered their support. One of the comments said:

That is so sad I’m so sorry you guys are going through this sending you strength girl because that’s the type of shit that as a mother I’d definitely be holding adults accountable for her and probably in the streets

Another person who went through a similar struggle in her time wrote:

very sad to hear this I had a teacher similar to that with one of my son’s didn’t like him set him up to get in trouble etc. she was fresh out of school and you knew she was there for the money these teachers and staff should be looked into but then again it’s always the higher ups that couldn’t give a shit about the students as long as they look good. her

Although the school community and concerned authorities have not commented or provided feedback regarding the bullying, the mother hopes her son will be able to live a normal life.
