American soldier David Thompson, who once spent days in the deep forest, faced cruel bullying in town as he longed to play football, a sport he had loved from the beginning.

On 15 September 2026, the “The Final March” news and media page on Facebook posted a post regarding David Thomson.

As per the post, David is the American soldier who was lost in the deep forest of Oregon. He spent days in the wilderness.

An American Soldier Faced Bullying for Longing to Play Football After He Spent Days in the Wilderness!

After spending days in the forest, David was finally rescued, but he had undergone a significant personality change. His body had grown thick hair, especially on his face, making him look very unusual.

Despite having the unusual change and days in the forest, his love for football was not out of his blood, which led him to join the town football game.

While he did wear a hat and head down to avoid the prying eyes, he faced some bullies from the townspeople, which led him to stop playing.

David’s insecurity and being bullied led him to stay outside the field and watch the football from the side of the arena.

One day, like always, he was watching the game when a 10-year-old boy named Alex from the neighborhood came to him and talked.

The 10-year-old boy Alex noticed that David was watching every game, so he asked whether he liked football or not.

Since it had been a long time since David had any communication with others, he hesitated and said he loved watching the game.

Therefore, the boy offered to play football in the next game along with them, which nearly changed David’s life from that point.

Initially, David was hesitant to take on the boy’s request, but his love for football led him to agree to the boy’s request.

After the game, David felt happy for the first time since the forest incident, which had also changed his life.
