The Pearland community is grieving the sudden death of Anthony Tupper, a devoted husband, father, local business owner, and mentor who touched the lives of countless individuals across Alvin ISD and Pearland ISD.

He was married to his wife, Krystle Ann Tupper, and leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, and leadership.

Anthony Tupper was widely known for his dedication to martial arts, coaching students for over 15 years and instilling values of discipline, integrity, and respect.

Sasha Costa, a longtime friend, remembered him fondly:

“Anthony Tupper was a man of faith; he loved his family and our community. The last thing I saw that he posted online was a scripture. I know he is home with our Lord Jesus. Anthony had been involved in martial arts coaching my family and has been a friend to us for over 15 years. I will miss my friend.”

His influence extended far beyond martial arts. As a longtime member of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, Anthony left a lasting mark through his dedication and community spirit.

The Chamber expressed its sorrow, saying,

“Anthony was a valued member of our community whose dedication and spirit left a lasting impact. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.”

Local leaders and organizations also mourned his passing. Mayor Dan Davis shared,

“Anthony suddenly passed away yesterday, and many of us are still taken aback by the news. He was a husband, father, local business owner, and a mentor to students across both Alvin ISD and Pearland ISD. My heart goes out to his loved ones, and I’ll be praying for comfort and peace for his family during this difficult time.”

Beyond his professional and civic commitments, Anthony was deeply involved in charitable work.

As the immediate past president of the board of directors for The Birthday Joy Program, he championed efforts to bring joy to children’s special days.

The organization honored him, stating,

“Anthony’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment left a lasting impact on our organization and everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him. His legacy of compassion and service will continue to inspire us all.”

Friends and colleagues remember Anthony not only for his leadership but also for his humor and guidance. Adrian Hernandez reflected,

“From day one of my elected service, Anthony Tupper would always joke that if I ever stepped out of line, he would send his band of mini ninjas to kick my butt back into shape. All these years later, I still try my best to walk the narrow path knowing that they could be anywhere watching. I look forward to your guidance from above now, amigo. Thank you for always being a friend and reminding me of the definition of integrity. You will be missed but not forgotten. ADios.”

Anthony Tupper’s sudden passing has left a profound void in Pearland, but his legacy of faith, mentorship, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.

The community remembers him as a devoted family man, a steadfast mentor, and a compassionate leader whose impact will not be forgotten.
