Glen David Hale II, a student at Auburn University, has tragically passed away, leaving everyone devastated.

Hale was born in Mountain Brook, Alabama, United States. He attended Auburn University in 2026 and was set to graduate in 2028.

In at Auburn, he pledged SAE and formed bonds that quickly became lifetime friendships.

He enjoyed being outdoors, where he could split a fairway, climb a cliff, rope-swing into a creek, or backflip off a rock.

Hale made friends with all of his classmates, teachers, teammates, and coaches. In achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, he combined his love of the outdoors with lessons in leadership and compassion.

Auburn Community Is Mourning The Tragic Loss Of Glen David Hale II

The sources confirmed that Glen David Hale II of Auburn University passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the age of 19.

However, the cause of death has not been revealed yet.

Amy Allison offered heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Glen’s family to stay strong in this time.

Glen was such a precious boy. I knew him when I worked at MBJH and through my friend’s son who was friends with Glen. I pray for strength and comfort for all, and that our Heavenly Father would wrap his loving arms around the Hale family, friends, and all who are grieving the loss of this darling soul who brought so much light, happiness, and love.

I have thought about sweet Glen continuously since hearing this sad news. He was one of the kindest of young men. My son was lucky to count Glen among his friends and so fortunate to grow up with him. Sending love and prayers to the Hale family and to all that loved Glen.

As per Glen’s family, a service in his memory will be held at St. Mary’s-on-the-Highlands Episcopal Church in Birmingham, Alabama, on March 13, 2026, with visitation starting at 2:30, followed by a funeral service at 4:00.

Glen David Hale II was born on May 12, 2006, to his parents, whose identity has not been revealed yet.

Currently, they are mourning the tragic loss of their son, Glen.

Glen grew up with his brothers, Gibbs, Graham, George, Bob, Cason, Tommy, Ben, and Trey.

Following Glen’s tragic death, SAE brothers will keep trying to fill the holes in their hearts created by his absence.
