Daphne High School Volleyball Coach Casey Craig Is Put on Leave for Alleged Behavior at the Game!

Daphne High School volleyball coach Casey Craig was placed on administrative leave following accusations that she made a crude comment toward the opposing team.

In 2026, Casey Craig was officially hired as the Head Volleyball Coach at Daphne High School.

After the hiring, the school’s principal, Fletcher Comer, praised her and welcomed her to the community, saying;

“Coach Casey is wellrounded, qualified, and well respected. She has the energy and commitment that will make her a great fit for the Daphne Trojans Family. We are excited to hire a coach that will relentlessly pursue success for our program and our school.”

While her presence at Daphne High School had earned quite a few victories, her recent behavior during the latest game has changed things at the school.

Daphne High School Volleyball Coach Casey Craig on Administrative Leave After Alleged Game Incident

Casey Craig was placed on administrative leave following allegations of inappropriate behavior during a varsity volleyball game against Bayside Academy.

Recently, a video surfaced on social media showing her appearing to make an obscene gesture toward the opposing team.

Additionally, she is accused of making crude comments about the opposing team and speaking poorly about their fans.

The Baldwin County School System (BCSS) has placed Coach Craig on administrative leave while they investigate the incident.

While not much is known about her leave date, when she will return has not been disclosed. Superintendent Eddie Tyler made a statement regarding the case, saying:

“Casey Craig has been put on administrative leave as of this morning. Due to this being a personnel matter, we cannot comment any further.”

Casey has been part of Daphne High School for over half a decade, training new talents and bringing victories to the community.

Before becoming the head coach at Daphne, she held multiple coaching roles, including club volleyball with RCVC and NASA in Huntsville, as well as assistant coaching stints at St. John Paul II Catholic High School and Grissom High School.
