The football community of Drakenstein is reeling from the tragic news of Sinoxolo “Jazz” Qashani’s death, a beloved player, captain, and role model who passed away on Tuesday night.

Qashani, the captain of the Mbekweni Sundowns Ladies Team, was widely admired for her leadership on the field and her dedication to the development of women’s football.

“Her memory will be a blessing, and her passion will continue to inspire future generations,” the DLFA in its tribute.

Coach-D, a community figure, also his heartbreak at the news, calling Qashani not only a leader and role model but also a great human being whose presence will be deeply missed.
