Mr. Electricity from the American Wrestling Association, Steve Regal, had a wife named Cindy Snyder.

Cindy and Steve Regal were married for more than five decades, and it was reported that they tied the knot in the 1970s.

The couple shared two children, who now seem to lead a private life of their own.

While not much about Steve’s wife has been disclosed in the media, what is known is that she was the daughter of American football player and professional wrestler Wilbur Snyder.

Now that Steve has passed away at the age of 73, he is survived by his wife and children, who have stayed out of the media spotlight since his death earlier this July.

Recently, multiple media sources, along with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), confirmed the passing of Steve Regal.

According to reports, Regal passed away earlier this July, but his death was only confirmed publicly on December 8, 2026.

As of now, the cause of his death has not been revealed, and the reason his passing was kept private for several months is still unknown.

However, not confirmed; a few sources claim that Steve died due to heart disease.

Following his passing, many have shared heartfelt posts after his death was officially confirmed by the NWA’s social media.

In , the NWA wrote a heartfelt message saying;

The National Wrestling Alliance is saddened to note the passing of former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion “Mr. Electricity” Steve Regal. Defeating Denny Brown for the title, this flashy and charismatic grappler reigned atop pro wrestling’s junior heavyweight in 1986, paving a path for generations to come. The NWA extends its most sincere thoughts to Regal’s family, friends and fans during this time.

Not just the wrestling community, but wrestling fans everywhere and everyone who grew up watching Mr. Electricity are now grieving.

Some have even questioned why his death was not announced at the time of his passing and why it took over four months for the announcement.

While he passed away months ago, our heartfelt condolences now go out to his wife, children, and everyone who knew him.
