Former football player Michael Holley took his last breath on October 19, 2026, at the age of 56.

Thus far, the precise details surrounding his sudden demise remain unknown as his family is grieving in private.

Michael is survived by his family, including his siblings: brother Tim Holley and sister Theresa Keith.

Born on September 6, 1969, Michael graduated from Bowie High School in Bowie, Texas, in 1987.

Back in high school, he was a familiar face at Bowie High. He played football and baseball, giving it his all on the field.

Above all, Michael wasn’t only an athlete, but he also joined a homemaking club, took part in spelling contests, and sang in the school choir.

After graduation, Michael joined the Army and served two years as a combat medic. When he returned, Michael worked as a phlebotomist.

Two years ago, he moved to Wichita Falls to be closer to his brother, Tim.

His sister, Theresa, took to her Facebook to share some of their pictures and wrote:

My brother Michael Holley passed away unexpectedly today. RIP big brother. 🥺Make sure to give Judy Gay the biggest hug and kiss from me. I love you

So far, Michael’s family hasn’t shared details about his memorial service. During this ordeal, we pray for the strength of Michael’s family and friends.

Rest In Heavenly Peace, Michael Holley!
