Former R.A. Long High School Soccer Player Robbie Wrathall, 39, Passed Away, Leaving Partner, Mia Keller, and Daughter Shattered!

A former high school soccer player and beloved father, partner, and son, Jan “Robbie” Robert Wrathall, passed away on December 4, 2026, at the age of 39.

In one last generous act, Robbie donated his organs so other people can keep breathing, keep living, because that’s exactly the kind of man he was.

Robbie is survived by his partner, Mia Keller, daughter Rowan Fay, father, Tom Wrathall, and stepmother Norine.

He was preceded in demise by his loving mother, Fay Wrathall.

Recently, he had received the greatest joy of his life when he and his partner, Mia, welcomed their daughter, Rowan Fay Wrathall, early this year.

He fell into fatherhood like he was born for it. He changed diapers without complaining, warmed bottles in the middle of the night, and looked at that little girl like she was the only thing that mattered in the whole world.

Everyone who saw them together could feel how completely he loved her.

Similarly, Robbie also leaves behind his siblings, brother Chris and sister-in-law Jodi Wrathall, sister Julie and brother-in-law Matias Alvarez, sister Jennifer and brother-in-law Brian Billingsley, Amy-Jo and brother-in-law Jimmy Bell, and brother Spencer and sister-in-law Traci Wrathall.

Justin Haws Faber, his longtime best friend of over a quarter century, penned a lengthy tribute post, which reads:

Robbie Wrathall has been my best friend for over a quarter century. I have looked up to him and loved him for most of my life. Nobody aside from my parents has had a more profound effect on the trajectory of my life and the person I am now than Robbie. He was my role model, my brother, and my hero.
Robbie was a fiercely loyal friend with the most generous heart and a genuineness that had no limit.
The world is far dimmer a place without him and I have never before hoped more desperately for an existence after this one than I do now.
Till we meet again

Born on September 23, 1986, as the youngest of 6 children, Robbie spent his childhood running wild through forests and along rivers, places that stayed his favourite spots to find peace his whole life.

In high school, Rbbbie played soccer, competed in DECA, and shone on the debate team. If not, he even won the state in duet and made it to nationals.

Robbie never stopped loving a good argument, the kind where people wrestle with big questions and come out closer on the other side.

He could talk to anybody, learn anything that caught his interest, and he never missed a chance to crack a joke, usually at his own expense.

After graduation, served a 2-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Belgium and France.

During his time there, he picked up French so well that years later, he could still teach his nieces and nephews all the best swear words with a huge grin.

Even after returning from his mission, Robbie continued the service by giving countless hours at food banks in Utah and anywhere else hands were needed.

He loved lifting the people around him, be it with quiet conversation, a helping hand, or a plate of thoughtfully curated cheeses, which he proudly brought to every gathering.

One of his proudest joys was when he became an uncle when he was only 8 years old. He, in fact, took that job seriously. He dragged his little nephews and nieces to elementary school show-and-tell like proud trophies.

Basically, he had the quiet way of making every room better.

Reportedly, friends and family will gather to celebrate his life on Saturday, December 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel on Adonis Drive in Millcreek, Utah.

During this challenging time, we pray for the strength of Robbie’s partner, daughter, father, siblings, friends, and extended family.
