The Milwaukee Brewers’ promising young left-handed pitcher Frank Cairone has been hospitalized following a serious car accident near his home in Franklinville, New Jersey, on Friday, January 2, 2026.
The team announced the news on Saturday, confirming that the 18-year-old prospect was receiving care at a hospital in the state with his family by his side.

Ranked as Milwaukee’s No. 26 prospect by MLB Pipeline and MiLB.com, he was viewed as a potential breakout arm in the farm system, with a projectable frame, solid arm action, and a promising curveball.
