Aubrey Tait, a 14-year old student athlete from Gautier High School who was reported missing earlier this month, has been located and is safe, according to an official announcement from the Gautier Police Department.

The news brought relief to family members, friends, classmates, and a concerned community that had rallied together to help locate the missing juvenile.

The initial missing persons alert was shared widely on social media by Terrarium Forever and other community members after Aubrey was from her home on Pamela Drive in Gautier, Mississippi.

Among the responses was a message from Adeola Charles Daodu, who wrote, “Prayer in Jesus Name,” reflecting the spiritual support many community members offered during the search.

Sandy Ashley commented, “Praying he’s found safe,” echoing sentiments of numerous others who voiced hope for a positive outcome.

Noreen Neria posted an extensive prayer, asking for protection for children who are missing or have run away, while also addressing broader issues such as family conduct, abuse, bullying, and mental health struggles that can contribute to juveniles leaving home.
