NFL player Micah Parsons shares a close bond with his siblings, Terrence Jr. and Shatara, although they maintain a low profile away from media scrutiny.
Micah is the youngest of three kids born to his parents, Terrence Parsons Sr. and Sherese Parsons.
Growing up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he shared a tight bond with his elder brother, Terrence Jr., and elder sister, Shatara.
While little is known about their childhood, it’s clear that family means a great deal to Micah.
Likewise, his siblings have been part of his journey from high school standout to NFL superstar.
The eldest of three Parsons siblings, Shatara Parsons, was an athlete, which shows the athletic drive that ran in the family.
The oldest sibling, Shatara Parsons, was a former college basketball player. She played for California University of Pennsylvania.
However, Shatara keeps a lower profile compared to Micah.
Whereas his elder brother, Terrence Parsons Jr., has been more visible in the public eye, especially when it comes to supporting Micah.
He’s not just a cheerleader in the stands, but Terrence has spoken out to defend his little brother during tough times.
Terrence Jr. has had Micah’s back in some key moments, especially when things got heated during Micah’s time with the Dallas Cowboys.
Micah’s Brother, Terrence Jr., Has Supported Him When Things Got Heated During Micah’s Time with the Dallas Cowboys!
Terrence Jr. defended Micah after playoff losses and spoke out during contract drama.
Back when Micah was with the Cowboys, the team faced heavy criticism for not advancing far in the playoffs.
After one tough loss, Terrence took to social media to call out fans and media who were pointing fingers at Micah.
He argued that Micah, who was racking up sacks and making Pro Bowls every year, was doing his part and shouldn’t be the scapegoat for the team’s struggles.
This speaks volumes about how Terrence wasn’t afraid to speak up when he felt his brother was being unfairly targeted.
Likewise, in 2026, Micah’s contract talks with the Cowboys turned messy.
When negotiations stalled and tensions rose with team owner Jerry Jones, Terrence didn’t stay quiet.
He posted on his social media, slamming the Cowboys’ front office for how they handled the situation.
He felt they were disrespecting Micah, who was pushing for a deal to become the NFL’s highest-paid non-quarterback.
