Hamilton Community School Coach Terry Richard Stehle’s death at the age of 75 has brought a moment of grief among his loved ones, including his family and the young teammates he trained.

Terry dedicated 37 years to teaching physical education and first aid and was well-known for coaching both football and baseball.

His influence extended beyond the classroom and the field, leaving a lasting impact on students, athletes, and colleagues alike.

Born on May 21, 1950, in Hamilton, Michigan, Terry Stehle was born to parents Richard and Kathryn Stehle.

While specific details about his early upbringing are limited, his lifelong commitment to education and community service suggests his legacy will be remembered by many.

After raising many talents and dedicating nearly four decades of life to the community, Terry passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2026.

Not just in football, Terry also coached baseball in the community and was often seen at practices even after his retirement.

His dedication to coaching and training young talent was never forgotten and will be remembered by many who knew him.

While most of his professional journey was spent in Hamilton Community Schools, he was also known and praised outside the community for his character and dedication.

Therefore, after his death, many have shared their sorrow and grief in the media, praising and thanking him for his teachings.

While many remember him after his death, he is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lorelei, their daughters Shannon and Wendy, and grandchildren Olivia, Maya, Grant, and Morgan.

Family Church — Haven Campus in Hamilton, Michigan, will hold a funeral for Terry, with visitation open from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2026.

The visitation is followed by a “Celebration of Life” on October 10, 2026, at the exact location, where family, friends, and community members gathered to honor his life and legacy.
