Hayden Anderson, a young athlete from Harrisburg High School, tragically lost his life in a freak accident that occurred in the early hours of the morning.
His mother, , shared the heartbreaking moment she received the call at 2:56 a.m., describing it as the nightmare every parent fears.
On the other hand, Anita Pettus, his grandma, , saying,
This is a really hard post….my grandson aka baby boy received his heavenly wings early this morning
he was accidentally shot and killed. It’s really hard to even believe

His toughness and determination earned him the inaugural “Bring the Pain” wrestling award earlier this year.
A 2026 graduate, Hayden’s athletic achievements reflected his dedication and spirit on the field and mat.
In the wake of his passing, loved ones have created a GoFundMe campaign entitled ” .”
This campaign aims to help his family with funeral expenses and arrangements, easing the burden as they transition from preparing for Christmas celebrations to facing unimaginable loss.
The sudden loss of Hayden Anderson has left his family, friends, and community in shock, struggling to process the grief of losing someone so young and full of promise.
With a heavy voice and heartbreak, his mother, , asked for prayers as she struggles to cope with the devastating news.
Likewise, his relatives and friends expressed their sorrow, remembering him as a beloved “baby boy.”
