A disturbing incident at Baconton Community Charter School (BCCS) has sparked outrage among parents and community members after a school resource officer allegedly kissed a young student on the head and fled upon realizing a surveillance camera was recording.

Parents claim that despite repeated complaints against the officer, the school and local authorities attempted to downplay the incident and even threatened those who tried to expose it.

Ryan Wilson, a parent, revealed that his daughter endured an unsettling encounter with the school’s resource officer.

According to Wilson, the officer had a history of inappropriate comments and behavior toward teachers, parents, and even students.

He said the school ignored complaints and, in some cases, threatened staff members with termination if they spoke out.

Wilson described the incident that ultimately led him to remove his children from the school.

Video footage allegedly showed the officer filling water bottles for students before approaching Wilson’s daughter.

The officer hugged her, kissed her on the head, and told her he missed seeing her. When he noticed the surveillance camera, he quickly exited the frame.

The young girl reportedly ran to her teacher in tears, visibly shaken and frightened.

Wilson said his daughter was traumatized, losing sleep and developing a new fear of men.

Wilson claimed that when he raised concerns, the school and local law enforcement attempted to silence him.

He said officials warned him not to release the video evidence and threatened him with arrest for “slander” if he went public.

He further alleged that a complaint he filed, which was supposed to be forwarded to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), was never sent.

Frustrated by what he described as a cover-up, Wilson withdrew his children from all schools, stating,

“Pulling our kids out of school has been the best decision we have ever made because the world has evil in it everywhere. We just did not expect it to be at our children’s school.”

Parents have also accused a physical education (PE) coach of misconduct, further fueling outrage at BCCS.

Critics point to a long history of inappropriate conduct within the school and demand transparency from both administrators and law enforcement.

The incident has left parents questioning the safety of their children at Baconton Community Charter School.

Many argue that the lack of accountability only emboldens inappropriate behavior within institutions meant to protect students.

Calls for independent investigation, legal action, and GBI involvement continue to grow louder as families seek justice.
