Brehnan Rysdam, a Hermiston High School lacrosse player, passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2026.

He was a cherished friend, family member, and valued pillar of the community, and his sudden departure left an immense void.

Brehnan Rysdam was a young lacrosse player from Hermiston, Oregon, who made his mark as a goalie.

He represented the future of Hermiston High School’s lacrosse program as a dedicated member of the Class of 2028.

As the last line of defense, the goalie is one of the most critical positions in lacrosse, which requires quick reflexes, courage, and a sharp understanding of the game.

Rysdam’s role as the team’s goalie highlighted his skill and determination to protect the net for the Hermiston Bulldog. His commitment to the sport pointed to a promising future.

A celebration of Brehnan’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Eastern Oregon Trade & Event Center, located at 1705 E. Airport Rd., Hermiston, OR.

The family invites guests to wear casual attire, camo, or a jersey in his honor.

His memory of Brehnan’s beautiful spirit will provide comfort and will be treasured forever.
