Jake Moody, an American professional football placekicker, shares an incredible bond with his sister Jessica Moody.
Chad and Lisa Moody raised them in a close-knit family in Commerce, Michigan.
Jake began playing football and baseball at Northville High School. Later, he committed to play college football for the University of Michigan in February 2018.
He set a Wolverines’ single-game record with six field goals as a true freshman and set a personal record in practice with a 69-yard field goal in 2026.

She is a proud alumna of Michigan State University and earned her Master of Arts in Special Education from Madonna University.
She had to practice switching allegiances when Jake played for the rival University of Michigan, and stated that she would root for her son.
Moreover, her support even extended to her classroom, where she cleverly negotiated with her students to hope for a Lions win, but not for their teacher’s son to miss his kicks.
The unwavering pride and support that Chad and Lisa Moody have for their son have remained constant, from the 49ers’ playoff victory over the Lions to their Super Bowl LVIII loss to the Chiefs.
