A former basketball player from Johns Creek, Georgia, Maddox Vysionz, recently shared a heartfelt post about her past experiences, explaining how she quit the game and started working.

In her post, she reflected on her journey of growing up in Johns Creek, Georgia.

She also reflected on the sacrifices she made as a teenager to work hard and build her future.

Former Straight-A Student and Basketball Player, Maddox Vysionz, Reflects on Her Past Struggles of How She Worked Several Jobs!

At just 16 years old, Maddox started her own tax business, earning about $3,000 a year, but before that, she had some struggles.

She was a straight-A student and made the difficult decision to quit the basketball team to focus on work.

Additionally, she also worked at Stone Mountain Park for $8 an hour and spent her summers doing data entry for an underwriter in Buckhead, earning $900 every two weeks.

On Saturdays, she passed out flyers at Lenox Mall for $100 in cash.

Maddox explained that she was making more money than many of her peers and even some adults, but it came with sacrifices.

She missed parties, football games, and homecoming. Her goal was not to grow up faster, but to work toward financial freedom and escape poverty.

Her dedication paid off. By working hard, Maddox became a teenage homeowner and set the course for her future.

She also shared a photo of Courtney B. Burns, who, at 15 years old, had supported and encouraged her.

Courtney baked Maddox a cake for her 16th birthday and reminded her to pause and enjoy life, leaving a lasting impact.

Following her inspiring story, many in the comments have expressed their pride and praised Maddox for her effort. One person in the comment wrote;
