Joshua Allen, who won Season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance, has sadly passed away. He was 36 years old. His family reportedly broke the sad news to TMZ.

Allen reportedly d!-ed on Tuesday in a hospital near his home in Texas. The police said they received a call about a person hit by a train. The investigation is still going on.

Joshua Allen, born in Fort Worth, Texas, became famous in 2008 when he won Season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance.

Despite having no formal dance lessons, his natural talent, energy, and charm helped him stand out, earning him the $250,000 grand prize.

He and fellow dancer Stephen “tWitch” Boss later returned to the show as All-Stars.

After his reality TV success, Joshua professional dancer and appeared in movies like Step Up 3D and the Footloose remake, as well as an episode of American Horror Story.

The Texas native also performed as a background dancer in other TV and film projects.

The late reality TV star’s family remembered him as a good man who loved bringing everyone together for holidays and family events.

One of Allen’s last pieces of advice was, “Keep God first. Be real with yourself before you are real with others.”

His close friend and choreographer Emmanuel Hurd called him “the life of the party” and “a real King,” and found comfort imagining him reunited with Boss.

Even in his final days, Joshua showed admiration for others. In July, he paid tribute on Instagram to the late actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner

He wrote, “Fly high King 🤴🏾🕊️💔#gonetoosoon,” alongside a photo of them together.

Joshua faced legal trouble in 2016 for domestic violence and spent a year in jail in 2017.

Joshua Allen Started His Dancing Journey As A Child

Allen was born on March 13, 1989, in Fort Worth, Texas. His family has kept details about his parents and siblings private.

He began dancing at the age of 8, inspired by Michael Jackson, and later trained in modern, ballet, and jazz styles.

After his rise to fame on So You Think You Can Dance, Joshua acted in films like Step Up 3D and the Footloose remake, and appeared on TV shows such as American Horror Story and Community.

He also performed as a background dancer in various productions. Joshua kept his romantic life private, with no confirmed information about a girlfriend or spouse.

Joshua’s story is remembered for his early passion for dance, his achievements on stage and screen, and the strong bonds he formed with friends and fellow performers.
