The Laredo community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Brianna Aguilera, a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend whose life ended far too soon.

Family members announced her death with profound grief, saying they are “left with the heaviest of hearts” as they try to understand what happened during her final hours.

Brianna grew up in Laredo, Texas, where she graduated from United High School with Magna Cum Laude honors.

She as a cheerleader and demonstrated a drive for academic excellence that set her apart.

Determined to pursue a career in law, she enrolled at The Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University, a place she had always dreamed of attending.

Becoming an Aggie had been one of her lifelong aspirations, and she was only a year away from earning her Aggie Ring—an achievement she looked forward to with immense pride.

On Friday, November 28, 2026, Brianna to Austin to attend the UT vs. Texas A&M tailgate with friends.

According to her family, she became separated from her phone sometime during the night.

The phone was later found in a nearby creek, raising even more questions about the circumstances leading up to her death.

What happened after that moment remains unclear, and her mother continues to seek answers as authorities investigate.

Brianna passed away in the early hours of Saturday, November 29, leaving her loved ones devastated.

Her cousin, Bell Fernandez, shared the news publicly and asked the community for help bringing Brianna home to Laredo.

The family continues to request prayers as they face the overwhelming grief of losing someone so cherished.

As they prepare for the difficult days ahead, Brianna’s family has asked the public for support.

Friends, relatives, and all who knew—or knew of—Brianna are encouraged to donate to help ease the financial burden of funeral and transportation costs.

For those unable to contribute financially, the family humbly asks for continued thoughts and prayers.

Her family now clings to memories of her radiant spirit as they search for clarity—and justice—in the days to come.
