Le Roy, Minnesota Community Mourns Caitlyn Ulwelling, Beloved Hairstylist and Proud Mother to Athletic Children Mabel and Walter

The Le Roy and Rochester, Minnesota, community is mourning the untimely death of beloved resident and hairstylist, Caityln Ulwelling.

According to her family, Caitlyn Ulwelling passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 26, 2026, a day after Christmas.

The untimely death of Caitlyn Ulwelling has left a profound void in the lives of her family, friends, and loved ones.

Caitlyn touched the lives of many in the community with her exceptional career as a hairstylist and her kind and cheerful nature.

She was a proud mother to her two athletic kids and a devoted wife to her longtime husband, Don.

Caitlyn and Don raised both of their children, daughter Mabel and son Walter, to become amazing athletes from a very young age.

Caitlyn’s daughter, Mabel, excels in volleyball and cheerleading, whereas her son, Walter, is winning the hearts of many with his exceptional football skills.

Likewise, Caitlyn often shared her children, Walter and Mabel’s, achievements on social media, expressing her love and pride for them. She also never missed a chance to display her love for her longtime husband.

The passing of Caitlyn Ulwelling has left her husband and two kids heartbroken.

Her husband, Don, an insurance agent at Cray Insurance, took to social media to express his sorrow and recall the memories of his late wife, Caitlyn.

Don described his late wife, Caitlyn, as the rock of their family and wrote:

“Caitlyn has always been the rock for our family, without her here with us just seems impossible. Our family will need need many prayers, this will be especially challenging for the children. I ask you keep themIn your thoughts. I miss my beautiful wife so much. She had such a wonderful life ahead of her. We thank each and every one of you for the impact you have made on making her who she is. As we travel this difficult path we will do our best to be that rock like Caitlyn. We love you all.”

In addition to being a proud mother and wife, Caitlyn touched the lives of many with her over 15 years of experience as a hair stylist. She loved making people feel beautiful and also educating them on products, and she loved learning new trends.

She served as hair designer and stylist at Sola Salon Studios in Rochester, Minnesota.

Social Media is Filled With Heartfelt Tributes To Late Caitlyn Ulwelling

Many of Caitlyn Ulwelling’s loved ones are sharing her memories on social media and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

One wrote:

“I am devastated to hear this. I had lost touch with Caitlyn over the years, but I have so many wonderful memories of her. I’m glad to have met her and to have known her for the time that I did. She was such a positive, funny, caring and bright person. I am so sorry for you and the kids.”

Furthermore, the Le Roy, Minnesota community has also created a to help Caitlyn’s family as they plan to organize a funeral and memorial service to honor her.

Caitlyn Ulwelling’s contribution to the community as a proud hairstylist and her journey as a proud mother of two and devoted wife will always be remembered.
