NFL Linesman, Darian Kinnard Shares Relation With The Country Music Legend, Dolly Parton

Darian Kinnard has a surprising family connection to country music legend Dolly Parton.

Darian Kinnard, the 25-year-old offensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers, is in fact related to Dolly Parton. The former Eagles’ man’s aunt is the first cousin of Dolly Parton, the American Singer.

Even though their relationship is actually closer than you think, they have not met in person. One of the reasons is probably that he is not a fan of country music. “I’m not a huge country music fan, but I respect it. It’s part of my family’s culture,” Darlan said.

Darian has also said that he has seen plenty of photos of his Aunt and the “Queen of Country”, Dolly Parton. They grew up together in Tennessee.

He has also said, “It’s kind of cool. I grew up going to Dollywood and stuff like that, but I never really go around saying my cousin is Dolly Parton. … I just go about my business and focus on doing what I have to do.”.

While he does not have much love for the music of the 11-time Grammy Award winner, he still loves Football to the core.

Milestone Only A Few Can Achieve

The four-star prospect of Saint Ignatius High School played his college football at Kentucky. During his time at university, he was named to the Consensus All-American team and won the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, and blocked for three 1000-yard rushers in his senior year.

Due to his high ceiling, he was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2026. He was the fifth round pick.

Though he was not on the active roster and spent most of his time on the practice squad, he still has two Super Bowls to his name with the Kansas City Chiefs.

After spending two seasons with the Chiefs, he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, where he won another Super Bowl, making it three in a row. Quite an achievement for someone who is still just 25.

Though Darian joined the Eagles in a two-year deal, he only played in 2 regular-season games. When the Eagles picked him by appearing in all three preseason games, they traded him for the 2027 sixth-round pick.
