Travis Pembrook dedicated his life to building one of the most respected names in the cattle industry.

Alongside his wife, Beth, he founded and operated Pembrook Cattle Company in Northwest Oklahoma, a business that stood on the very land his family originally homesteaded.

From a young age, Travis himself in the registered Angus breed, while Beth grew up with registered Limousin cattle in Kentucky.

Their shared passion for livestock brought them together in 1995, and soon after their marriage in 1996, they began pursuing their dream of raising and marketing registered Angus cattle.

The Pembrooks combined hard work, vision, and a deep respect for tradition to establish their herd and expand their influence.

Their custom-fitting service gained nationwide recognition, preparing cattle for state fairs and national shows across the U.S. and Canada.

Over the years, the couple produced multiple national champions while developing long-lasting partnerships with fellow cattlemen.

Their guiding principle—“Putting Good Cattle into the Hands of Great People”—reflected their belief that success stemmed as much from community as it did from genetics.

Through cattle camps, youth mentorship, and family involvement, Travis and Beth built more than a business; they built a legacy of faith, values, and service to others.

Honoring the Life and Legacy of Travis Pembrook After His Death

The livestock community is mourning the death of Travis Pembrook, who passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind his wife Beth and their two sons, Bret and Bryson.

Known for his humility, kindness, and infectious smile, Travis was remembered not only as a skilled cattleman but also as a man who put people first.

Visitation for Travis will be held on Tuesday, August 26, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Pierce Funeral Home in Fairview, Oklahoma.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, at 11 AM in the Fairview High School Gymnasium, followed by lunch at the Major County Fairgrounds.

In tribute to his passion for the next generation, the family has the Travis Pembrook Memorial Scholarship Fund through Cattlemen’s Congress.

Instead of flowers, friends and supporters are encouraged to contribute to the scholarship, ensuring that Travis’s lifelong dedication to youth and agriculture continues to inspire future cattlemen and women.

Across social media, tributes have poured in from fellow ranchers, friends, and community members.

Many recall Travis’s rare ability to make others feel valued, his commitment to agriculture, and his unwavering devotion to his family.

While his passing leaves a void in the livestock industry, his faith, work ethic, and legacy of mentorship ensure that his influence will endure for generations to come.
