One colleague shared a heartfelt tribute, writing,

“Jeff was one of the first people I met at Chadwick School. He actually was on the hiring committee and interviewed me for the job. He made an incredible impact in Korea and California, to name a few. I can’t speak to all of his accomplishments because they are infinite. All I can do is use art as a tool to reflect and express gratitude to a man who has impacted many generations. Gone too soon.”

As students, staff, and alumni come together to honor Jeffrey Mercer’s memory, they remember him not only as an outstanding educator but also as a compassionate mentor and visionary leader.

His influence will continue to inspire the Chadwick community for years to come.
