Daneysse Daniels, a top production manager for TNT Sports, passed away on November 13, 2026, at the age of 42 in Atlanta, Georgia.
She reportedly fell ill last Friday while working in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Then, she drove herself to the hospital, and that’s when they found out Daneysee had a brain aneurysm that burst, causing a stroke, brain swelling, and bleeding.
Doctors tried everything; they performed several procedures and even surgery. But the stroke and all that bleeding made it too much.
In the end, they couldn’t do any more to help her. She fought hard, but she passed away.
Daneysee Daniels is survived by her loving siblings, Damiyah, Kandy, and Mikea Ramirez, as well as her cousin Desiree Honey Faulk and extended family.
Her cousin, Desiree, penned a tribute post, writing:
Words cannot explain the pain i feel and the hole that is in my chest right now…my cousin my sweet loving cousin😭😭😭😭 we had plans girl, things weren’t suppose to end like this, I’m lost right now man WHY YOU?? WHY THIS WAY?? SMH MY GOD PLEASE HELP ME THROUGH THIS CAUSE RIGHT NOW IM BARLEY HOLDING ON!!!
“Until we meet again my beautiful angel. 😓-Always & Forever your cousin Desi,” she added.
Daneysse grew up with a love for the behind-the-scenes magic of television. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Washington State University and a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from California State University, Fullerton.
She began with small jobs at the LA Clippers and Fox Sports before moving to larger roles.
In no time, people who worked with her noticed that she was skilled at her work and was both kind and intelligent.
worked at Fox Sports, where she oversaw more than 500 live broadcasts annually for the UFC, NBA, NHL, and MLB.
Later, she landed a role at Warner Bros. Discovery in Atlanta, where she ran TNT Sports‘ remote operations. That meant she managed 65 big live sports events every year, everything from NHL on TNT to the madness of March Madness.
Daneysse handled big budgets, i.e., over $17 million, and led teams of more than 150 people.
Regardless of handling big budgets, she was known for staying calm under pressure and getting the job done right.
Her résumé reads like a highlight reel of American sports: Stanley Cup Finals, NCAA Final Four, NBA All-Star Weekend, UFC International Fight Week. She collected an Emmy along the way, but friends say the real reward was watching a rookie grip learn the job under her wing.
Thus far, details of her funeral and memorial services have yet to be published by her family as they are grieving in private.
During this challenging time, we pray for the strength of Daneysse’s siblings, colleagues, and extended family.
Rest In Heavenly Peace, Daneysse Daniels!
