Marysville Supporter Mom Throws Object at Opposing Player and Calls Her a B*tch During High School Girls Basketball Game!

Gil McVicker took to his Facebook page to share what happened at the home opener for the girls’ varsity basketball game, where Marysville faced off against Marine City, that he attended with his daughter on December 15, 2026.

In what should have been an exciting matchup for the young athletes on both sides, the Marsyville fans behaved in ways that really crossed the line.

The problems started with parents from the Marysville side shouting insults at the visiting Marine City players.

According to McVicker, a dad lost control and began screaming at one of the referees in such an intense and unhinged manner that his own daughter, actively playing in the game at that moment, had to turn and plead with him to stop while she was still out there on the floor.

However, what upset McVicker the most was how a mother who is a Marysville supporter went so far as to throw objects onto the court at the opposing team.

Later, the name of the mother throwing objects was found to be Korey Quain.

Similarly, McVicker uploaded the video, which caught the mother throwing objects online, which in no time made significant rounds.

Likewise, apparently, the mother also called the opposing team girl b*tch.

McVicker pointed out that the district’s athletic director was right there watching everything unfold, but didn’t step in to do anything about it.

He strongly believed that the parent in question should face a ban from attending any future school events.

Turns out the ref had asked the athletic director for help identifying the person to have them removed. However, no action was taken.

He went on to say that the sportsmanship displayed by the Marysville fans that night was pathetic. McViker said that the school should be embarrassed by it all enough to come out with an official apology.

McViker said:

Marysville Vikings Athletics you clearly knew who it was. You sir should be fired. That lady attempted to assault a minor and you didn’t have the guts to say anything.

“Marysville Public Schools do better,” he added.

Later, McViker shared a photo that revealed something interesting about why this kind of behavior went unchecked.

According to the post, Korey Quain, the mother in question, and her family apparently buy jerseys, warmups, and other clothes for the volleyball, basketball, and softball teams, which helps make sure certain actions get overlooked and even secures spots on varsity for players.

When someone talked to the coach about this, he mentioned that they simply cannot afford to lose the financial support she provides.

McViker expressed his disgust, writing:

Well isn’t that interesting. No wonder why she and her husband get away with being garbage humans to children. It’s always a case of follow the money.

This whole episode brings up bigger concerns about how money and donations from parents can influence things in high school sports, particularly when it comes to holding adults accountable for their actions in the stands.
